So, 2010 schedule started to be planned over one year ago. This is great information for hospitals and clinics that would like to sponsor a event. Cancer Sucks

We started in 1996 introducing courses geared towards empowering medical professionals with education to treat cancer patients more effectively. At North American Seminars, Inc. we believe our greatest contribution has been in the cancer education area. We have trained over 7,000 therapists in lymphedema management. In 2010, we will introduce several new cancer related courses. Our latest introduction is, " A Comprehensive Approach to Breast Cancer Management" http://www.healthclick.com/courses/nas48.cfm.

What neat about this course, I believe, is the background of the instructor, Linda Canyon. Ms. Canyon developed a DVD in Navajo on breast cancer for the native American population. To me this type of real world experience adds to the depth of a course. While all our courses are evidenced based, I believe real world clinical experience is a great addition to the course.

I labeled this post cancer-sucks because it does and I believe it the nicest way to emphasis how traumatic it can be. Our vision as a company is to take away some of the fear with knowledge.
